The Role

As a Year 4 Teacher, your main responsibilities will include:

** Develop creative, engaging lesson plans that align with the Key Stage 2 curriculum while considering the diverse learning needs within your class.

** Regularly assess and track student progress, identifying areas where extra support or extension work may be needed.

** Establish a positive and structured environment to ensure all pupils feel safe, respected, and motivated to learn.

** Work closely with the Year 4 team and other staff to share resources, ideas, and strategies to enhance student outcomes.

** Maintain open and constructive communication with parents and guardians to discuss progress and share insights on their child’s learning journey.

 

You’ll play a pivotal role in building your pupils’ confidence, curiosity, and readiness for the challenges of the next academic stage. Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and prior experience in Key Stage 2 are essential for this role.
